Master Robert Russell-Brown

Founder (1992)

Master Robert Russell-Brown began studying martial arts in 1957, beginning with Judo, then learning a soft-flowing style of Ju Jutsu from Master Jan de Jong, principal of the Ju Jutsu Kan, Perth where Robert taught for many years.
In the mid 1960s he studied the 'evasive' Indonesian fighting art of Pencak Silat, then pioneered the study of Japanese Karate (Shotokan) in Perth, Western Australia, receiving the rank of third dan (honorary). In conjunction with learning and teaching Tai Chi, Robert has studied Reiki (2nd level) and metaphysical healing.                                                  However, with an engineering background, he has used modern scientific and medical knowledge to gain a deep understanding of how this ancient Chinese art works.
Robert has been teaching Tai Chi since 1992 and is a member of the Tai Chi Association of Australia.

Master Kaye Jenkins

Tai Chi Instructor

Kaye has been studying Tai Chi with Master Robert Russell-Brown since 2012 and has been instructing in Tai Chi since 2018. She achieved Master in 2020. Her passion for Tai Chi has only increased and she has  studied further: Shoulder Pole and Yin Yang Sword in 2015, the Immortal Silver Flute and the Sabre in 2017, followed by the Dragon Phoenix Fan in 2019.                                                                                    Kaye has now taken on the role as owner of Tai Chi For All to ensure  the school continues into the future. However Master Robert Russell-Brown is still very much a part of Tai Chi For All.                                        In her formative years she was a Professional Dancer and has found the same beauty and enjoyment in Tai Chi.                                                    Kaye is a member of the Tai Chi Association of Australia

Tai Chi Instructor

I came to Tai Chi in 2001. I was searching for anything that would help reduce pain that I was suffering from a vehicle accident. From the first class that I attended there was some relief. The first term was mainly Qigong and that set the path for me to follow.

My Tai Chi has been a blessing in disguise, my doctors couldn’t believe the change in my mobility and demeanor. The gains that I have made have also encouraged me to branch out into the field of Reiki which I now use together with Tai Chi for pain relief and comfort. I only wish that I had started this training twenty years earlier.

Benefits of Tai Chi

Everyone can benefit from Tai Chi and Chi Kung. like most low-impact exercises, it can be an important part of a healthy lifestyle, hence health care professionals often suggest it as a complementary therapy for many conditions. Tai Chi emphasizes correct posture, relaxation and balance, which can align the mind and body to provide relief from many physical and mental ailments. You do not need any background in martial arts or dance to learn and enjoy Tai Chi.
